The challenge

Stamp won a 5 way tender to work with The University of Northampton and West Northampton Development Corporation to develop the brand for the new and exciting iCon project based in Daventry. 

Northamptonshire was chosen to be the East Midlands home of the new iHub for Sustainable Construction. Initially just named the iCon it was developed to be a best practice beacon for Sustainable Construction and house 60 new businesses that operated using environmental technologies. Stamp worked with the stakeholders to undertake a full and detailed branding process developing the brand proposition, strap lines, visual identity and final execution of on and offline marketing materials.

Our solution

An in depth research process was undertaken to define the brands personalty and place in amongst its competitors. The final brand was based on a grid (isometric symmetry mirroring nature), giving it a large amount of scope to develop a unique and distinctive look and feel.
